Why Pomona Families Trust Us With IRC Bonds
We write Inmate Reception Center bail bonds for Pomona families facing a downtown jail they cannot visit. In 20+ years we have helped 867+ clients, and the first call is free.
A reference on your bond hears from us only when there is a real reason, such as a missed court date. We do not flood you or them with calls and texts.
Our phones stay open all night and all weekend, holidays included. Call as soon as you learn a bail amount, and we start the paperwork on that call.
Call (888) 998-9511 at 3 a.m. and a person answers. A full name and birth date are enough to begin, and we handle the searching from there.
The site footer carries our CDI license, 1844710. Look it up with the Department’s Check a License tool, which lists an agent’s status and discipline history.
We check the charge first: many county arrests carry $0 bail under the Pre-Arraignment Release Protocol. On Magistrate Review charges, a judge may release or hold someone until arraignment; no bond posts meanwhile.
How a Release From the Inmate Reception Center Works
LASD lists the Inmate Reception Center, or IRC, as temporary holding, with separate phone lines for booking and release. A Pomona family handles most IRC business by phone, using the numbers below.
Address and Main Phone
The Inmate Reception Center is at 450 Bauchet Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012, the same address LASD lists for Twin Towers Correctional Facility. LASD places it next to Men’s Central Jail at 441 Bauchet Street. For custody questions and help finding someone, LASD’s number is (213) 473-6100.
How a Pomona Case Reaches County Custody
Pomona Police book most of their arrestees at Pomona City Jail, 490 W. Mission Blvd. The City says arrestees without medical problems stay there; those who post bail or a bond or qualify for a citation leave, and the rest wait for arraignment at the Pomona courts. LASD says county jails accept people the Superior Court remands to custody.
Screening, Booking Numbers and Custody for Women
LASD gives every inmate a medical evaluation at booking and screens IRC arrivals for mental illness. Its Medical Command Center, (213) 893-5544, takes urgent health concerns. For a booking number, call the inmate information line, (213) 473-6100, and have the complete name and date of birth or arrest ready. Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood holds women.
Visiting Limits, Trust-Account Money and IRC Phone Lines
IRC has no family visiting, only weekday professional visits. The IRC lines are Booking (213) 893-5327, Release (213) 893-5347, Cashier’s Office (213) 473-6049 and Inmate Property (213) 893-5352. Once home, your relative can collect trust-account money at IRC with government photo ID; the department purges those accounts about 30 days after release.
Three Simple Steps to a Bail Bond
Call (888) 998-9511 at any hour. Once bail has a dollar amount, you sign the agreement and make a low down payment on the standard premium, 10% of bail.
We spread the premium balance over a written plan that fits your budget. Penal Code 1276.1 bars a second premium on the same bond, however long the case runs.
A licensed agent posts the bond with the facility holding your loved one. Each jail controls its own processing time, and we keep your family updated from posting until release.

Inmate Reception Center Bail Bond FAQ
Families calling about IRC ask about cost and timing first, then how to find the person. The answers rest on LASD and City of Pomona sources plus California law.
The standard premium is 10% of the bail, so $1,000 bail means a $100 premium, charged once under Penal Code 1276.1. Our filed 8% rate may apply to veterans, active-duty service members, union members and clients of a private attorney. Families who qualify can start with a low down payment.
No bail agent can promise a time, because LASD runs its own release process. In our experience, release after posting takes 2-6 hours, and IRC processing can run longer. We stay in touch until your relative is out, and our guide to what happens after posting bail covers the steps.
Call LASD’s inmate location line, (213) 473-6100, or use the Inmate Finder on lasd.org; LASD asks you to have the person’s name and date of birth ready. Once we post a bond, we stay in contact with the jail and call you when release goes through.
Not on its own. Under Penal Code 1270.2, a person held because they cannot post bail gets an automatic review within five days of the bail order, which they may waive. The judge decides whether the amount changes, so ask a defense attorney about that hearing; we cannot give legal advice.
Start with Pomona City Jail at (909) 620-2131. The City keeps arrestees without medical problems there until release or arraignment, and its jailers transport prisoners to and from jails in the L.A. area. LASD sends no notice when it moves someone between county jails, so check (213) 473-6100 as well.
