Why Families Trust Us With Pomona Public Intoxication Bonds
Maybe the call came after midnight for a drunk-in-public arrest. We have 20+ years in business and 867+ clients helped, and an agent starts by reading the booking record.
Send us a name and birth date. Our agent phones Pomona City Jail at (909) 620-2131 to confirm the booking and charges, then fills out the bond forms if bail applies.
If your family speaks Spanish at home, a bilingual agent can go over the citation and any bond terms with you in Spanish, and signers receive a Spanish contract.
We discuss a drunk-in-public case only with the people who call or sign for the bond, and we keep booking details and phone numbers private.
You will hear no lecture about drinking from us. We talk about the charge and the next court date, and treat the person in custody with the same courtesy we show you.
We explain each term in plain words. Cite and Release means a citation and a promise to appear; Book and Release means booking, then release with $0 bail.
Public Intoxication Charges We Post Bonds For
A drunk-in-public arrest can come with other charges. Each card gives the charge’s track on the 2026 Los Angeles County bail schedules and whether bail is $0.
PC 647(f) makes it a misdemeanor to be in public so intoxicated that you cannot care for your own or others’ safety, or that you block a street or sidewalk. The 2026 schedule lists it as Cite and Release, $0 bail.
If your relative resisted, delayed or obstructed an officer on purpose, police can add PC 148(a)(1), which carries up to a year in jail, a $1,000 fine or both. Its 2026 schedule track is still Cite and Release at $0.
Fighting in public or loud, unreasonable noise meant to disturb others can lead to PC 415, with up to 90 days in jail. PC 415 has no row in the 2026 schedule, which sets Cite and Release at $0 for unlisted misdemeanors.
Any willful, unlawful use of force or violence on another person is battery under PC 242, and PC 243(a) allows up to six months in jail. Under the 2026 schedule, simple battery is Book and Release at $0, with release after booking.
Miss the court date on a 647(f) citation, and a judge can issue a bench warrant. The zero-bail protocol covers arrests without a warrant. For a warrant arrest, the bail the judge endorses under PC 815a sets the bond amount.
Driving impaired or at 0.08 percent blood alcohol violates Vehicle Code 23152. It is Book and Release at $0, or Magistrate Review with two or more priors in ten years, where a magistrate may release on conditions or hold the driver until arraignment.

Three Simple Steps to a Bail Bond
Call (888) 998-9511 at any hour. Once bail has a dollar amount, you sign the agreement and make a low down payment on the standard premium, 10% of bail.
We spread the premium balance over a written plan that fits your budget. Penal Code 1276.1 bars a second premium on the same bond, however long the case runs.
A licensed agent posts the bond with the facility holding your loved one. Each jail controls its own processing time, and we keep your family updated from posting until release.
Areas We Serve Across Pomona
We take calls from Pomona’s three ZIP codes, 91766, 91767 and 91768. If your relative ends up in San Bernardino County’s West Valley Detention Center, we post bonds there too.
Nearby areas we cover: Downtown Pomona · Phillips Ranch · Cal Poly Pomona · Lincoln Park

Public Intoxication Bail Bond FAQ
We answer five questions on Pomona public intoxication bail bonds with California statutes and the 2026 Los Angeles County schedules, from zero bail to the cost of a warrant bond.
For PC 647(f) alone, no: the Pre-Arraignment Release Protocol lists it as Cite and Release at $0. You can use one once a judge sets money bail, on a warrant or at arraignment. Felony probation or parole means Magistrate Review, and a magistrate may hold the person until arraignment.
A $1,000 bond costs a $100 premium at the standard rate of 10% of bail, as our bail bond cost guide shows. Veterans and private-attorney clients can be eligible for our filed 8% rate, or $80. The agency keeps the premium in most cases, including after a dismissal.
Article I, section 12 of the California Constitution lets a court deny bail for capital crimes when the facts are evident or the presumption great, and for some violent, sexual-assault or threat felonies on clear and convincing evidence of danger. The 2026 felony schedule marks murder with special circumstances INELIGIBLE FOR RELEASE.
It means a judge set bail at $3,000, and a bond for that amount costs a $300 premium at 10%. For a Cite and Release offense such as PC 647(f), judges who set money bail can follow the 2026 misdemeanor schedule’s guideline of $1,000 to $5,000.
Anyone kept in custody must see a magistrate within 48 hours after arrest, excluding Sundays and holidays. PC 849(b)(2) lets police release a person arrested without a warrant for intoxication alone when no further proceedings are desirable, and PC 647(g) bars prosecution after civil protective custody for 72-hour treatment.
